Bluebell is Back!
I don't know about you, but I am absolutely ready to leave the dark winter days behind and embrace the freshness of spring. So ready in fact, I decided to release the Bluebell candle a little earlier than usual.
Talking to people over the last few weeks, from baristas, to shopkeepers, to friends, it seems like our collective mental state has taken a bit of a nose dive. Hey, it's not always easy to live in a country that gives us sunshine for about 6 minutes a week IF we're lucky, the stars align, and someone has made a blood sacrifice.
So if you've been in the depths of it recently, know that you're not alone.
I've been coping by reading survival stories, drinking a lot of coffee, and meeting friends for sweet treats (latest obsession is the white chocolate and coconut square from Buí, if I could eat nothing else for all existence, that would be my choice).
While we may not be trapped in the Andes in the dead of winter, the last few weeks of dull skies has felt interminable. One day blending greyly into the next. The idea of a sun could be theoretical at this point.
But now it's March! Congratulations soldier! We've officially made it past the first two months of 2025. Things are changing. Growing. The DAYS are STRETCHING!!!
I'm sure you felt the same bright delight at the sight of the cheery daffodils, or an errant bee on his lumbering travels. Folks. We made it.
Forget all that complaining I did there about the weather. Before long we'll be taking 9pm walks around the garden inhaling the sun baked goodness of it all, drinking iced vanilla lattes, and staring at the ocean blue sky like a long-lost lover.
And while it might be a little while before the delicate bluebells arrive, I've been lighting some Bluebell candles around the house to welcome in this uplifting time of year.
If you haven't tried Bluebell yet, let me give you an idea.
Filled with florals from bluebells to sweet hyacinth, rose, and jasmine, this candle embodies the rejuvenating spirit of spring. It's a crisp and long-lasting scent, fresh, clean, and bright. It works beautifully in a hall or open plan area, as this scent carries well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I'll be delivering a batch to Castle Crafts this Thursday the 6th of March, and the store here will be updated on Friday at 5pm.
As always, a huge thank-you to any of you who're reading this post, or support Rain & Wild, or spread the word. I appreciate you all so damn much and I wouldn't be here doing what I love without you all!
Until next time,
L x
